Product Description

LubriMax™ DF-100 Defoamer Fluid is a 100% active, medium-viscosity polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) silicone fluid designed to provide reliable foam control in compatible oil-based, non-aqueous, and industrial process systems. Its 100 cSt nominal viscosity provides a good balance of dispersion, persistence, and long-lasting antifoam performance.

DF-100 spreads across foam films to help destabilize bubbles and reduce recurring surface foam during blending, circulation, pumping, and equipment operation. It is chemically inert, thermally stable, water-insoluble, and non-volatile, making it well suited for demanding lubricant and process applications.

A typical starting treatment level is 10–100 ppm (0.001–0.010% by weight). Actual dosage should be optimized based on the formulation, degree of foaming, operating temperature, shear, and point of addition.
