LubriMax™ DF-5 Defoamer Fluid
LubriMax™ DF-5 Defoamer Fluid is a 100% active, low-viscosity polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) silicone fluid designed for rapid foam knockdown in industrial oil and lubricant systems. Its low 5 cSt nominal viscosity promotes fast dispersion, allowing DF-5 to control troublesome foam at very low treatment levels.
DF-5 is well suited for lubricating oils, hydraulic fluids, gear oils, compressor oils, metalworking fluids, and other industrial oil systems where entrained air and surface foam can interfere with equipment performance, fluid handling, or process efficiency. Its concentrated, water-free composition makes it an economical choice for formulators seeking effective silicone-based foam control without introducing an emulsion or carrier system.
