PG-USP Propylene Glycol is a high-purity, USP/FCC-grade propylene glycol with a minimum purity of 99.8%. It is a clear, colorless, low-odor liquid offering excellent solvency, humectancy, moisture retention, and complete miscibility with water.
PG-USP is a versatile formulation ingredient suitable for pharmaceutical, food and beverage, personal care, cosmetic, and industrial applications where consistent quality and high-purity propylene glycol are required. It can function as a humectant, solvent, carrier, processing aid, and chemical intermediate in a wide variety of formulations.
PG-USP may also be used as a base component for heat-transfer fluids, antifreeze solutions, freeze-protection fluids, and deicing formulations. For applications involving metal-containing circulation systems, an appropriate corrosion inhibitor package should be incorporated based on the system design and operating conditions.
